Seems likely to be fixed for 3.5.3, though again I haven't done enough research to be sure. 1. http://lists.quaker.eu.org/pipermail/kdedevelopers-feed/2006-April/000312.html 2. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115891 3. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124157 -- kdeprint breaks with cups 1.2.0 https://launchpad.net/bugs/47237 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 46983] Re: kubuntu firefox home page
this is due to a diversion to /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/kubuntu/about- kubuntu/index.html via /etc/alternatives/firefox-homepage so the links in /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/kubuntu/about-kubuntu/index.html are relative -- kubuntu firefox home page https://launchpad.net/bugs/46983 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 30207] Re: media:/ does not handle floppy mounting correctly
Thanks. So /dev/fd0 is correct, and you shouldn't be in group 'disk' to mount it (being in 'disk' is a security risk!) -- media:/ does not handle floppy mounting correctly https://launchpad.net/bugs/30207 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 47162] Re: Please make kdeartwork-emoticons recommendet for kopete
Ok, now i know. I accidently installed three broken emoticon-packages when kdeartwork-emoticons was not installed. Then I installed kdeartwork-emoticons. As luck would have it I tried a few working packages afterwards. Sorry for that. -- Please make kdeartwork-emoticons recommendet for kopete https://launchpad.net/bugs/47162 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 47162] Can not reproduce it anymore
Yes, i am using dapper. And I am unable to reproduce it, too, sorry for that. I deinstalled kdeartwork and it still works. [Bug 47237] kdeprint breaks with cups 1.2.0
Public bug reported: The recent upload of the final cups 1.2.0 has brougth the issue described in [1] up. Quick overview: kdeprint has been using private cups APIs, and those APIs have finally been removed in cups 1.2.0, breaking kdeprint (manifests as being unable to use TCP printing for me). There seem to be patches available, and in kde svn apparently, though I'm not entirely sure which ones apply. See kde bugs [2]#115891 and [3]#124157. Seems likely to be fixed for 3.5.3, though again I haven't done enough research to be sure. 1. http://lists.quaker.eu.org/pipermail/kdedevelopers-feed/2006-April/000312.html 2. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115891 3. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124157 ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed -- kdeprint breaks with cups 1.2.0 https://launchpad.net/bugs/47237 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
