[Bug 36905] Re: KDE hyperlinks in do not work in a standard (non-kde) Ubuntu enviroment.
Hi, This is a fairly standard Ubuntu installation, so no Konqueror. Installing Konqeuror seems to fix the issue. But this is not an ideal solution (then again, this isn't exactly a critical bug), and I still want all URLs to open in my preffered browser (which is firefox), with this fix, the URLs present in amarok open in Konqueror. However, it's worth noting that clicking a link in the wikipedia part of Amarok (click on 'Artist' in the context menu when playing music) does actually open firefox, which is my choice in the 'General Options' section of the settings window. Also, this bug appears to affect my Fedora Core 6 installation as well. My FC6 already has Konqueror installed, but is otherwise a Gnome set-up. Konqueror loads up on links within the about windows, but firefox does get started when I click a wikipedia link. -- KDE hyperlinks in do not work in a standard (non-kde) Ubuntu enviroment. https://launchpad.net/bugs/36905 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 37341] Re: XF86AudioRaiseVolume key/action not working in kde
is this working in feisty? or the latest edgy? These buttons seem to have been added, for most machines by now. How are you testing this? xev and amarok? amarok has only seemed to hardcode some of the multimedia buttons by default. Try adding the buttons into the global shortcuts of amarok, or whichever multimedia player you're using, and see if the problem still exists. ** Changed in: kdebase (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Needs Info -- XF86AudioRaiseVolume key/action not working in kde https://launchpad.net/bugs/37341 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 40048] Re: K-Menu icons not created before next logout
I cant confirm this. twice, on two different machines. I've had this problem previously, and it seems to be a configuration problem. On a new profile, all of the menu stuff works fine, whether you install programs from adept, or apt-get, they still appear on the menu. [Bug 67889] Re: (edgy) SRU: KDE crashes when logout is canceled
I have tested the packages from edgy-proposed (version: 3.5.5-0ubuntu3.1) and it fixes the problem for me. I have also not seen any obvious regression when running standard kde apps for last 4 hours. It would be good if some of the initial reporters (Fernio, Travis, Johnny, Risto) also confirm that this fixes the problem for them (and that there are no regressions). -- (edgy) SRU: KDE crashes when logout is canceled https://launchpad.net/bugs/67889 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
