[Bug 99693] Re: knetworkmanager icon weirdness after resume
I can confirm this is still the case. It's kind of hard to produce a screenshot of it, 'cause it's only happening during a short period of time while the machine is resuming. [Bug 127522] gutsy: system freezes in battery mode
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop I'm running kubuntu gutsy with the latest update and kernel (2.6.22-8-generic) on an Samsung X20 V (pentium M, 1.6 GHz, intel 915gm chipset graphics) Since some recent updates my system freezes while running on battery. [Bug 127614] Problems handling genre when ripping
Public bug reported: When configuring the external audio encoder lame, the dialog of hints for %t=tittle, %a=artist, etc. fails to mention that %g=genre, yet I tested it on a hunch and it just worked. For this reason, it seems that the hints dialog should be updated to include this and the default command-line (for lame) should also include '--tg %g' to take advantage of this. I also noticed that if you rip one CD with the genre set 'blues' for example and then rip a second CD with the genre set to '' (empty/blank), the resulting mp3 files for the second CD will have their genre set to the last non-blank value (blues in this example). ** Affects: k3b (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Problems handling genre when ripping https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127614 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for k3b in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 127352] Re: Amarok mixes album names while renaming
I can't reproduce this. If I have an artist with a single file, when I rename the album tag, the entry is cleared from the context browser (and picked up on the next incremental scan). If I have an artist with multiple files, when I change an album name (either in the tag dialog or the in-line tag editing in the playlist), the context browser and playlist are both updated when I click the Save Close button. I'm running current SVN. Maybe this has already been fixed for 1.4.7. [Bug 127352] Re: Amarok mixes album names while renaming
Indeed it could be fixed in 1.4.7, but in my version it is definately present. I've done a lot of renaming this weekend and I came across this bug literally tens of times. I will try to make some kind of video, showing the renaming process and the problem I'm experiencing. [Bug 121895] Re: knetworkmanager systray right-click and left-click behaviors have swapped places
Thanks for the pointer. That item is about something different, though: the filer seems to be asking to be able to right-click on individual networks and interfaces, rather than the knetworkmanager systray icon. I'd argue that knetworkmanager isn't an application, so while the behavior is perfectly appropriate for amarok, but it is inappropriate for knetworkmanager. Counterexamples to amarok: kmix, kmenu, klipper, knotes. These are all accessories, or utilities - as is knetworkmanager. It's a question of primary behavior, again. The new knetworkmanager behavior is to show properties by default. That might be ok if the user could change networks on the first screen of the connection status window, but that isn't possible. -- knetworkmanager systray right-click and left-click behaviors have swapped places https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121895 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for knetworkmanager in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
