[Bug 410976] [NEW] dolphin stops responding to keyboard input (invalid)
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, dolphin 4.2.2. I'm not sure if this is fixed in 4.3. Currently updating to try it out. Open up dolphin. Abuse your keyboard, like holding Ctrl+I (showing/hiding filter bar). Then after a few seconds, Dolphin would stop responding to any keyboard input. I only noticed this because I wouldn't be able to use my keyboard in Dolphin after a certain amount of usage. I'm not certain this is just Dolphin's problem. Update: this appears to be fixed in 4.3 somehow. It isn't. I just moved (around) 18000 messages from one online IMAP account to another without crashing. However, sometimes it crashes when moving no more than 10 messages. It doesn't look random though. I disagree. The bug is valid, as is the upstream bug. Setting this to wishlist would be wrong because of the reason mentioned in the bug description. I just tested this in KDE 4.3.2. (kmail 1.12.2) - Set properties on an Inbox --> Sender identity (choose a non-default identity) - Redirect message from that Inbox. - Message will be redirected with default identity (also wrong smtp) and could therefore end up in wrong sent-mail folder.
