[Bug 865032] Re: digikam cannot connect to PTP cameras
Thanks, themroc, the problems with Gwenview and Dolphin have been well noted. I only used both to check if the camera and the photos are recognised. I had a look at the bug report quoted by Sod75 (#18). Really bad, just leaving out libgphoto2 support. I've got a notebook with Kubuntu 11.04 still on it. I'll use that for the time being. I can always transfer a fully finished folder (album) with photos via USB stick or network. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to digikam in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/865032 Title: digikam cannot connect to PTP cameras To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/digikam/+bug/865032/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 883436] [NEW] file explorer tab doesn't display the path of the current folder
Public bug reported: In kubuntu 11.10 with the amarok package 2:2.4.3-1ubuntu2 when using Files as media source in the left panel, there is a file explorer. At the top of this panel, there is the Media Sources Home button, a and the location where the path of the current folder should be displayed. However the only part of the path which is displayed is /. Moreover, if you browse in your file system with a depth of 3 or 4 folders, when you change the size of the left panel you can see tiny windows appearing which contains each a button with the name of one folder of the path. The bigger the panel, the more windows appear. And if you reduce the size the windows disappear one at a time and they appear again when you augment the size. It is important to change of folder at least once after launching the file explorer if you want to reproduce this latter bug. This bug is especially annoying with the tiling mode of kwin with the column layout, as if it is the only window, the window of amarok will be maximized, which means that the left panel's size will be augmented, which means that new windows will appear, which means that the window of amarok will be reduced and so will the left panel, which means that the windows will disappear and amarok will be maximized and it will start again. In this situation the window will be no more controllable as it will change dimension at fast speed. ** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to amarok in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883436 Title: file explorer tab doesn't display the path of the current folder To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok/+bug/883436/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 23159 error_code 3 request_code 20 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Thanks for reporting the bug. Could you please specify in more detail when the duplicates start appearing? For example, are they already there when you start the program, after you move/copy some messages... or does this bug appear randomly? If possible, could you provide a test case (a sequence of actions that can be performed to reproduce the bug)? ** Changed in: kdepim (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883459 Title: KMail duplicates emails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/883459/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 883459] Re: KMail duplicates emails
Another example: I received these emails: https://url.odesk.com/u2fi4 (screenshot) I read them and deleted them. Then on the next mail check I see this: https://url.odesk.com/7t69v (screenshot) That new email is the one I have deleted earlier. The problem is that it does not happen everytime with every email - but often enough to be very annoying. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883459 Title: KMail duplicates emails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/883459/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 859075] Re: Oneiric does not shutdown
I wonder if there are other areas of these scripts where perhaps alternatives are possible, but as the entire sysvinit package has been flagged as a high importance issue, perhaps it would be better to wait to see if a proper fix rather than my hack appears. I would suggest you try clint's suggestion if adding set -x to the files he discussed, as that should show exactly where the problem occurs on your machine. [Bug 831636] Re: File Properties uses unreadable black on dark grey text
bug 883634 sounds similar to this and I think I've noticed it on other apps as well - maybe this is a theme bug rather than digikey?
