[Bug 1026328] [NEW] difficult to open tree widgets

2012-07-18 Thread Dave Gilbert
Public bug reported:

I'm running KDE in Quantal, and with the default settings Gtk apps run
with the oxygen style.

In widgets which have a tree displayed - i.e. a hierarchical set of data where
you have to click a > to open the view of that
subhierarchy - the > is very difficult to open; the only way I've managed to
open it is to highlight the > with a click-slide and then click.

I don't think it used to be like this, and it's almost unusable; I'm
fairly sure it's not intentional.

Two examples of the use are the 'accounts' list in Gnucash, and the
'project explorer' view in Eclipse.

Switching to use a different gtk style (e.g. Crux) works fine.

[Bug 1026314] [NEW] Cannot burn CDs any more

2012-07-18 Thread Uqbar
Public bug reported:

While I can burn DVDs both from an ISO image and from a file collection, I
cannot do the same with CDs and CD-RWs.
K3b said I could have problems with file permissions for both the executable
helpers and the device file in /dev.
I applied the suggested changes. But still cannot burn any CD.
I attach also the k3b log file.

[Bug 1005677] Re: Re-emergence of "Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_style_get: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)'"

2012-07-18 Thread Barneedhar
This bug affects Retext (as reported in bug #1026025) as well. Using
"LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 retext" helps fix the issue.
