[Bug 1386088] [NEW] Commit 0f149f44 broke Konqueror's session management (tabs not restored on login)

2014-10-27 Thread Chris Samuel
Public bug reported:

Ever since upgrading to KDE 4.14 through the Kubuntu PPA on Trusty
(14.04) AMD64 I am not getting Konqueror tabs restored on login.This
appears to be KDE bug 339699 -Commit 0f149f44 broke Konqueror's session
management which apparently can be solved by partial revert of a small
commit.

To quote:

I just noted, that it's not explicit in the bug report's description:
The patch already exists, it's simply reverting 0f149f44, which is a
very small commit (it does not have to be reverted completely, but it's
obvious when looking at it).

I can't believe that a more recent Nvidia driver, which would support
Maxwell cards, is not included in Utopic. This is just crazy :/

[Bug 1386238] Re: Sync blas 1.2.20110419-10 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

2014-10-27 Thread Daniel Holbach
This bug was fixed in the package blas - 1.2.20110419-10
Sponsored for Rico Tzschichholz (ricotz)

blas (1.2.20110419-10) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Add pkg-config file blas-netlib.pc and alternatives. Closes: #764372.

blas (1.2.20110419-9) unstable; urgency=medium

  * On any-i386 and m68k, compile test programs with -ffloat-store. This
has become necessary with gfortran 4.9 (maybe because the
-fno-whole-file option has been removed, though I don't really
understand the interaction of both options). (Closes: #762484)

blas (1.2.20110419-8) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Drop obsolete code in maintainer scripts to deal with the transition
libblas.so.3gf = libblas.so.3.
  * Remove Sylvestre Ledru from Uploaders. Thanks Sylvestre for your work!
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.6, no changes needed.
  * Add empty arch:any package libblas-common. All BLAS/LAPACK
implementations will now depend on this package. The goal is to make
BLAS implementations multi-arch safe by preventing the
co-installability of, say, libblas3:amd64 and libatlas3-base:i386. See
#760936 for more details. On the longer term, the right solution is of
course to make BLAS implementations M-A:same.

Re: [Bug 278807] Re: package cmake 2.6.0-4ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2

2014-10-27 Thread ken78724
Jonathon Thomas and A. Elbach, thanks for working on [Bug 278807]. I am
just recalling my plight with cmake 2.6.3 in Karmic, which I later
upgraded to Studio 12.04; then I sat my ACER laptop aside as it won't boot
... On UbuntuForum.org ken78724 post in Ubuntu Studio and on
KubuntuForum.org I have 2014 posts relating that 12.04 Studio login
response “Your unlock login keyring is not recognized.” There's been no
time to solve the unlock login keyring is not recognized.”

Am not able to set aside other work nor address the cmake 2.6.3 Kamic bug
nor to follow up with the later bug preventing me from logging in due to
the error message unlock login keyring is not recognized.” My purpose in
mentioning all of this is this. Do you believe the cmake bug and the unlock
login keyring is not recognized” bug is related or independent of one
another? Yes, is there any likelihood that bug 278807 and a unlock login
keyring not being recognized are related?

thanks for all each of you do. Kenneth 512.828.9778
