[Bug 60448] Re: .xsession-errors file grows out of control & saturates disk space

2015-02-02 Thread Johnny Berentsen
Amazing, wonder how that slipped my radar...

Anyway, I notice it is included in RHEL/CentOS 7, but not in 6.

Hopefully we won't see any happy 10th birthday comment from mlaverdiere
:/

[Bug 1354924] Re: Networkmanager does not autoconnect to wireless network

2015-02-02 Thread Nathaniel Eliot
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2004690 describes what appears
to have been the solution to this problem for me: add
`SUSPEND_MODULES="iwlwifi"` to `/etc/pm/config.d/config` and reboot.

Missing monitor ranges

The problem is the incorrect screen dimension, in this case it show "30 mm x
179mm".

I've edited the binary file and create new one with correct screen
dimension and correct bit colours that in the original is not set (6
bits per primary color channel).

To load the new "edid.bin" I've created a specific xorg configuration file that
loads the modified EDID configuration for DFP-2 screen, that is the MacBook Air
LCD panel.
See attached file for more information.
