[Bug 1450694] Re: Switching from Xorg to fglrx-updates and back loses 1 monitor

2015-04-30 Thread Jeffrey Stern
To be a bit more precise -- in DM, I switched from Xorg (which was
initially working with both monitors) to fglrx-updates (the 2nd choice
in the dialog box screenshot). Rebooted, ran under fglrx-updates driver
a few times, then switched back to Xorg driver (and rebooted).

[Bug 1450085] Re: kio_sftp can't connect to hosts after OpenSSH 6 has cached their ECDSA key

2015-04-30 Thread Alvin
I remember that upstream bug. No, this should be a new one. That bug was fixed.
Now, sftp://servername in Dolphin shows this message:

The host key for this server was not found, but another type of key
exists. An attacker might change the default server key to confuse your
client into thinking the key does not exists. Please contact your system
administrator.

address the same problem, and that there is only this bug to squash to

2015-04-30 Thread Erick Brunzell
I never could get Vivid's usb-creator to create a working live USB,
always ending with the error "Failed to install the bootloader", so I
filed bug #1446646. You might want to compare logs to see if the errors
look the same. I've just been too busy to deal with it any further - for
all intents and purposes I've just given up on usb-creator ever working
properly.

I checked the source code, in /usr/share/usb-creator/usb-creator-

I tried also from a live session of Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS booted from

ubuntu-14.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso

where I made the proposed repository available and installed usb-

It still fails to install the bootloader and exits with the same message
window (as when trying in the installed system),

"Failed to install the bootloader.

[Bug 1450338] [NEW] Keyboard shortcuts that use windows key do not work

2015-04-30 Thread Hubert depesz Lubaczewski
Public bug reported:

I installed KUbuntu 15.04 on fresh system, and noticed that when I make
a session, and assign keyboard shortcut to run this session (like ctrl-
shift-t runs new "Shell') - it works, as long as the shortcut doesn't
use windows key.

I can enter such shortcut, and it's displayed correctly as "Meta+M" (for
example), but upon pressing windows-m, I'm getting some control
characters sent to terminal, and not new tab opened with defined
session.

It looks, that (at least for meta-m) the generated sequence is:
"ctrl-x", "@", "s", "m".
