[Bug 1478405] Re: REGRESSION: spellcheck does not work in PLASMA 5 applications
Thanks a lot Sergio. As a workaround, I simply removed the hunspell package and installed myspell-en-us. I was then able to select "American English (United States) [US]" in the Spell Check settings. When I reopened Kate, spell checking worked (though I confirmed that it was using the right dictionary in the settings). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1478405 Title: REGRESSION: spellcheck does not work in PLASMA 5 applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1478405/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1491476] [NEW] kde lock screen timeout too long
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I am using stock Kubuntu 15.04. I am new to KDE and have migrated from gnome and unity. Whenever i lock my screen in KDE, it takes about 10 minutes for the screen to blank out and display to go into powersaving mode. in gnome and other gnome based distros, when i lock the screen, it stays on for 3 seconds and fades out to put my monitor into standby whereas in kde, the lockscreen shows up for a very long time. Why is that? No one has any job staring at the lock screen. I wish the screen timeout was 3 seconds or some reasonable time during the lockscreen ** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- kde lock screen timeout too long https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1491476 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1402906] Re: Please backport KDE 4.14.3 to Trusty
If someone does want to help with this, a bunch of the packages are done / need depends finished. They are in the ninjas ppa. I have not abandoned the task, but life requires my full attention so I do not have to time to volunteer much right now. #kubuntu-devel can lead you to the ninjas ppa. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Kubuntu PPA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1402906 Title: Please backport KDE 4.14.3 to Trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1402906/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1448345] Re: Akonadi personal information management service not operational after upgrading
Can anyone resolve the problem of being locked out of kaddress? As above users have remarked, this problem has only arisen as a result of updating from 14.10 to 15.04. The error log I get is attached - I think it's exactly the same as experienced by others. Losing access to addresses is becoming more serious than just inconvenient! ** Attachment added: "akonadi-selftest-report-20150902.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/akonadi/+bug/1448345/+attachment/4456125/+files/akonadi-selftest-report-20150902.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to akonadi in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1448345 Title: Akonadi personal information management service not operational after upgrading To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/akonadi/+bug/1448345/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
