[Bug 1579723] Re: kde keeps prompting to install flash, despite always answering no
I agree that kded should not keep continuing to prompt to install flash after it's been declined. Do note that you can work around this behavior (I believe, I'm not a kde user) as described in http://askubuntu.com/questions/616348/how-to-disable-extra-packages-can- be-installed-popup-in-kubuntu-15-04 . [Bug 1580724] [NEW] Title Bars and Window Handling Not Working after Resuming from Locked Screen
Public bug reported: The title bar at the top of windows sometimes disappears after applications have been left open and the computer has locked the screen. When I resume, the windows are missing their title bars and the resizing and closing buttons. It prevents the background windows that are open from being closeable. Right clicking on the application menu at the bottom taskbar panel opens the menu but none of the resizing or close options work. Applications that are opened after the screen resumes don't even show up at all on the taskbar panel. See attached screenshot for an example of what it looks like. Firefox was opened after the resume and title bar issue and is not even listed on the taskbar panel. [Bug 1574099] Re: Problem with kwallet after migration to 16.04
@seb128: If you don't have any critical information inside of the wallet, then just delete the wallet and it will be recreated automatically on-demand. This would make apps which rely on it work again. The issue won't be fixed soon, I guarantee that. I am on kubuntu staging ppa (plasma 5.6.3) and the issue persists there. It would take monthes to fix the issue in the upstream and backport in to kubuntu in the best case. If you need the content of the wallet, maybe you'll be able to do that with copying the wallet to the machine with the older release, exporting the data there and importing it back on you machine, but I didn't try that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kwallet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1574099 Title: Problem with kwallet after migration to 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kwallet/+bug/1574099/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1576500] Re: Plasma fails to load: "all shell packages missing"
I have very similar issues to those reported here. Upgraded to 16.04 from 15.10 (from australia - au.archive.ubuntu.com seemed flakey when I started, but got there after a few days of trying). Couldn't start plasma, could only get to a terminal prompt. Running startx yielded the exact screen grabs that dpeets attached. >From there I purged nvidia drivers and somehow got to the plasma log in screen. No progress after hitting enter on the log in screen. By some accident I plugged an HDMI cable into my laptop, and then plasma loaded. I've verfified this a number of times. plasma only starts fully when an hdmi cable is connected to an external display! I tried purging snapd (I have no idea what that is) but no difference. I also have the weird double '//' in my $XDG_DATA_DIRS env var: echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS /usr/share//usr/share/xsessions/plasma:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to plasma-desktop in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576500 Title: Plasma fails to load: "all shell packages missing" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-desktop/+bug/1576500/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
