[Bug 1623341] [NEW] Session restore works sporadically
Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS and Kubuntu backports PPA, I believe I am experiencing an instance of KDE bug 354724 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354724), presumably due to the fact the Qt version is still 5.5.1, but I'm not sure. What is sure is that I experience the mentioned bug and it is very annoying. ** Affects: kubuntu-ppa Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Kubuntu PPA. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1623341 Title: Session restore works sporadically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1623341/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1595588] Re: Tons of "log_kioremote: RemoteDirNotify::FilesChanged" errors in ~/.xsession-errors
Affects me too. uname -a gives: Linux kubuntu-acer 4.4.0-36-generic #55-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 11 18:00:59 UTC 2016 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux in my ~/.xsession-errors there are just two files, that apparently have changed. [Bug 1622890] [NEW] screen brightness is not undimmed when user becomes active again
Public bug reported: Since upgrading to kubuntu 16.04, the screen brightness remains low (dimmed) after a period of inactivity even when the user becomes active again. Laptop is on AC power throughout. Steps to reproduce: * in system settings->energy saving set dim period to 5 min * after 10 min screen is dimmed * when moving mouse and after possibly unlocking screen, the screen brightness remains low Expect to happen: screen brightness goes back up Workaround: When screen brightness stays too low, go to system settings->energy saving, select box "Screen brightness", select any Level of brightness different from current value, and click Apply.
