This crucial bug that undermines the reputation of Ubuntu has remained opened for a very long time. Obviously, the fix seams complicated since it still has not arrived. But meantime, people want a working laptop, period. This is the kind of bug that pushed many previous Linux users to migrate to Mac OS X, simply because the latter simply works. May I suggest that someone at Canonical simply push a script under '/etc/pm/power.d' that calls 'systemctl restart NetworkManager.service' upon resume until all power management and networking issues are resolved? Public bug reported: It is impossible to input text properly into some input fields, including the one that asks for sudo password, KRunner, Kicker's search, widget search etc. The problem does not affect anything but plasma stuff. E.g. when I input "ubuntu", I get "u" or "ub" etc. I have found out that it is possible to input anything with a big number of repeats. E.g. to input "ubuntu", I can press keys in approximately such order: "ubuuunntuu". Same for removing characters - have to hit the Backspace key a million times. [Bug 1633710] [NEW] Gwenview gets randomly stuck in full screen
Public bug reported: Sometimes gwenview stops showing the title bar. It stays in a full screen mode, where the menu bar is at the top, and the task bar is not visible. But the button to come back from full screen is not visible, so I am stuck in that mode. Everytime this happens, I need to delete the file ./.config/org.kde.gwenviewrc, and then Gwenview starts working normally. I am attaching the ./.config/org.kde.gwenviewrc file that I get when the issue occurs (without the recent section).
