The problem is fixed for anki in artful and bionic. Please open tickets

[Bug 1762479] [NEW] [FFe] KdeConnect 1.3.0 for Bionic

2018-04-09 Thread Rik Mills
Public bug reported:

The Kubuntu Team request a Feature Freeze Exception for KDEConnect 1.3.0

Release announcement:
https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kdeconnect/2018-April/003529.html

Fixes/features:

- Fixed frequent crash when receiving notifications
- Fixed MPRIS player entries never being deleted
- Added a nautilus extension to send files from the context menu*
- Added handling of "tel:" links with KDE Connect
- Support sending album art in MPRIS plugin
- Allow sharing more than one file from the CI (eg: --share *.mp3)

I have been testing a git master build from our experimental PPA for a
few days - all kdeconnect dev and releases are done from that branch at
the moment - and I have not noticed any regressions.

Test build today from the release tarball can be found at:

https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/staging-
misc/+sourcepub/8974496/+listing-archive-extra

Should regressions occur for Bionic, I would commit to fixing these
under a SRU.

Thnaks.

[Bug 1762472] [NEW] Can't accept password with return in login and lock screens

2018-04-09 Thread Hannu Koivisto
Public bug reported:

Kubuntu 18.04 beta 20180404, installed to a virtual machine (Virtualbox
5.2.4, Kubuntu 17.10 host) for testing purposes. All packages are up-to-
date as of this writing.

If, after starting the machine, I attempt to log in by hitting return
after writing the password, nothing happens. If I press login button
with the mouse, I get logged in.

If I then log out and repeat, return logs me in.

Somewhat similarly, if I let screen lock automatically (due to
configured timeout), I can't unlock by writing the password + return. I
need to press Unlock-button with the mouse.

However, if I lock the screen manually from menu (Leave -> Lock), the
problem doesn't occur and I can unlock by writing the password + return.

I have Kubuntu 16.04 and 17.04 under the same Virtualbox/host and the
problem doesn't occur in those. It also doesn't occur in the Kubuntu
17.10 host.

[Bug 1762328] [NEW] kio-extras build-depends on libslp-dev, unmaintained, removed from Debian unstable in 2016

2018-04-09 Thread Steve Langasek
Public bug reported:

kio-extras 4:17.12.3-0ubuntu1 build-depends on libslp-dev, which was
removed from Debian in December 2016. We should also remove it from
Ubuntu, which requires kio-extras to stop build-depending on it.

The kio-extras 4:17.08.3-2 package in Debian unstable presumably has the
fix for this bug.
