[Bug 1890022] Re: kglobalaccel5 crashed with SIGABRT in QMessageLogger::fatal() when opening up VMware Workstation Pro 15.5.6
Hello. I experienced this bug under Kubuntu 21.04 (Dev) updated daily and Plasma 5.20.3 I had done nothing special, just translating a KDE « po » file with Lokalize. I remain available for further information. Regards. [Bug 1884432] Re: Kate does not show in applications
I have found how to reproduce the bug! PLEASE, REPAIR IT. 1) file ~/.local/share/applications/org.kde.kate.desktop contains blocks in the following order and everything works as it should (Kate is searchable in the dash and can be pinned to the dash bar): [Desktop Entry] ... [Desktop Action Session ...] ... 2) open Kate, new session 3) click menubar Session > Save session (choose name, save) 4) the file ~/.local/share/applications/org.kde.kate.desktop rewrites itself (as it should) but contains blocks in a wrong order! [Desktop Action Session ...] ... [Desktop Action Session ...] ... [Desktop Entry] ... 5) suddenly, kate icon moves to the bottom on the dash bar, when clicked by the right mouse button, you can no longer pin it nor find it among the dash applications 6) you have to manually open ~/.local/share/applications/org.kde.kate.desktop and move the [Desktop Entry] block to the beginning of the file -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kate in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1884432 Title: Kate does not show in applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kate/+bug/1884432/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1903378] Re: ubiquity in live session and ubiquity-dm fails to start
I am also told in #ubuntu-qt on IRC that: Also sip.setapi('QVariant', 1) needs to be replaced with something like sip.enableautoconversion(QVariant, False).
