[Bug 1431061] Re: KDE Partition Manager theme is old
Well, commit that fixes GUI in case sudo is used is https://cgit.kde.org/partitionmanager.git/commit/?id=c84026a27e29963137f742941abcb5a4757d3c56 Also related commit for Wayland: https://cgit.kde.org/partitionmanager.git/commit/?id=3c465a4cb65b897ee093cf582d837bf6ad95c865 How would pkexec improve things? The only difference is that pkexec will eat more environmental variables than sudo. But we have to pass them anyway. It's actually harder to pass those variables using pkexec, you have to do something like pkexec env var=something program and then pkexec only tells than command env requires root password so user can't even see what program is really being launched. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to partitionmanager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1431061 Title: KDE Partition Manager theme is old To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partitionmanager/+bug/1431061/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
