[Bug 75127] Re: The module Disk and Filesystems could not be loaded error msg
Hi, could you please check if you have a crash dump file in /var/crash for this event? If so you can run '/usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash- file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' to have it retraced and filed. ** Changed in: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: New => Incomplete -- The module Disk and Filesystems could not be loaded error msg https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/75127 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 149818] Re: kmail doesn't respect cursor position in templates
This bug was nominated for Gutsy but does currently not qualify for a 7.10 stable release update (SRU) and the nomination is therefore declined. According the the SRU policy, the fix should already be deployed and tested in the current development version before an update to the stable releases will be considered. With 7.10 now released, that policy applies to this bug. See: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates . The bug is not being closed as work will continue on fixing it for the next release, Hardy Heron (8.04). If the state of this bug should change such that it qualifies for the SRU process, please contact the person who originally declined it and ask them to re-evaluate it. To help improve the state of this bug see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/HowToTriage . ** Changed in: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- kmail doesn't respect cursor position in templates https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149818 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 39679] Re: kubuntu-desktop install mangles the gnome theme
Uninstalling gtk2-engines-gtk-qt reverts the behaviour, as expected. However, I think it would be better to ask the user if this is what he/she because it makes the gnome system seem broken. Ideally, the gtk apps should get the KDE look when run from KDE but not when run in gnome. ** Changed in: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal => Minor -- kubuntu-desktop install mangles the gnome theme https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/39679 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 39679] kubuntu-desktop install mangles the gnome theme
Public bug reported: Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: I have a fairly standard dapper ubuntu install. I decided to to install kubuntu-desktop to have a look (looks nice btw). However, doing so caused the gnome default setup (Human theme, etc.) to be largely hijacked by the default kubuntu one, including icons, widgets and menu highlights. Konqueror is now the default browser, etc. Some apps like Firefox and Nautilus are affected but others like Synaptic are not. So I understand that kubuntu-desktop is a meta-package that not only installs the kubuntu software but also sets the various kubuntu artwork defaults. The 'right thing to do' might have been to install various KDE applications directly without installing kubuntu-desktop, but the latter is the easiest and many people will do just that. FYI, I also tried to change the display settings while in kubuntu but subsequently replaced xorg.conf with an older copy. -- kubuntu-desktop install mangles the gnome theme https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/39679 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
