[Bug 1442005] Re: Notifications are shown forever
Just discovered this myself tonight. Running 15.04 on multiple machines -- same issue with Quassel on all machines I tinkered with. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to quassel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1442005 Title: Notifications are shown forever To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/quassel/+bug/1442005/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1299872] Re: Quassel Client won't start with recent updates (3/30/2014)
With my issue in particular, I just reinstalled 14.04 since the laptop I was running 14.04 on at the time was a spare unit. Once I reinstalled, it was fine. Prior to reinstalling, I wiped everything in my home directory including the hidden items; no change. Sorry it doesn't really help, but given the fact another user reported similar weirdness, it at least confirms that I'm not crazy. :P -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to quassel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299872 Title: Quassel Client won't start with recent updates (3/30/2014) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/quassel/+bug/1299872/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1299872] [NEW] Quassel Client won't start with recent updates (3/30/2014)
Public bug reported: I'm running Quassel Client on an Ubuntu 14.04 laptop, along with Quassel Core on my Ubuntu 12.04.4 server. My client machine is running Quassel Client from the standard trusty repos. This morning I checked for updates and acquired quite a number of them. Following a restart, Quassel Client will not start. I can see the processes populating in System Monitor and I can kill them accordingly, but Quassel Client itself just never actually runs, even following a reboot. I also removed my ~/.config/quassel-irc.org folder in an effort to reset the settings, but no change. Thank you for your time and efforts! [Bug 959151] Re: QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
I just ran into this same exact error when I tried to pass a -e parameter to Konsole. I was trying to bind a shortcut so I could hit a key combination and Konsole would open to an SSH session on my server. konsole -e 'ssh jason@192.168.1.20' Running that command results in two lines of the above error, along with what appears to be a Konsole session opening and closing immediately with no SSH session present. If I run the exact same command in other terminals, it works fine... example: terminator -e 'ssh jason@192.168.1.20' gnome-terminal -e 'ssh jason@192.168.1.20' Thought I'd comment.
