[Bug 1778011] Re: SRU: PRIME Power Saving mode draws too much power
Is there a way to test this patch with the 418 driver? I have an RTX 2070, which is not supported by the 390 driver, but I'd really like my battery life back. When I try to follow the instructions from the report, but replacing 390 with 418, it doesn't work (predictably). $ sudo apt install nvidia-driver-418/bionic-proposed gdm3/bionic- proposed ubuntu-drivers-common/bionic-proposed nvidia-prime/bionic- proposed nvidia-settings/bionic-proposed libnvidia-gl-418/bionic- proposed libnvidia-compute-418/bionic-proposed libnvidia-decode-418 /bionic-proposed libnvidia-encode-418/bionic-proposed libnvidia-ifr1-418 /bionic-proposed libnvidia-fbc1-418/bionic-proposed Reading package lists... [Bug 1417980] Re: Add support for unified Xorg input driver
We had a discussion between Laney, Seb, Timo in #ubuntu-desktop. We can not be sure what effect this change will have on everyone, so we are not targeting for X because LTS. Instead this will (hopefully) happen early in the Y cycle. ** Tags added: rls-y-incoming ** Also affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Y-series) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: kcm-touchpad (Ubuntu Y-series) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu Y-series) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: kcm-touchpad (Ubuntu Xenial) ** No longer affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu Xenial) ** No longer affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Xenial) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kcm-touchpad in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1417980 Title: Add support for unified Xorg input driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1417980/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
