[Bug 392940] Re: Plasma chrashed while plugging in an external drive

2009-10-02 Thread sputnik
Hi Richard!

Thanks for asking!

I don't think that this crash occurred again in the meantime. - I am
sorry but I guess this bug is too old to be remembered well...

My current package version is now: 4:4.3.1-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa2

I still think it is a remarkable bug, though. Is there any way to get a
text list of running plasma applications?

Public bug reported:

[Bug 390535] Re: Crash in Konqueror

2009-06-22 Thread sputnik
Hi Yuriy! - Thanks for the answer!

I didn't report this because I was not exactly sure. I think when the
crash happened I have been on an OperaUnite page (Media Player). I will
attach the source code of that site. One can contact me for more
information by Mail or Jabber (it is not always available).

Thanks again - and good luck!

[Bug 381099] Re: Konqueror crashed on a website with an Ajax chat

2009-06-13 Thread sputnik
Hi Jonathan!

Yes: Konqueror crashes very often on this site (reproducible). - I don't
know if it is always the same reason - and it seems to be a bug in the
website, not only in Konqueror. Opera (10.00 Beta) also crashes here.
Firefox seems to work, but gets errors. (I am not used enough to firefox
to copy the bug-messages... :( )

This is what I did on the homepage.
I clicked on a smiley that should produce an ascii equivalent for the chat.
Konqueror here now also crashes immediatly while trying to use the last session
on restart.

This is the chat:
/*
 * @package AJAX_Chat
 * @author Sebastian Tschan
 * @copyright (c) Sebastian Tschan
 * @license GNU Affero General Public License
 * @link https://blueimp.net/ajax/
 */

I only installed it locally and it is not always available on the net. -
Only per request by e-mail.

This is what the commandline said:

$ konqueror
(21211)/ main: 2 - parseCommandLine
(21211)/ main: 3 - create KApplication
Disabling the GTK-Qt Theme Engine for "/usr/bin/nspluginviewer"
KCrash: Application 'konqueror' crashing...
sock_file=/home/sputnik/.kde/socket-ac/kdeinit4__0

Thanks so far!

[Bug 350734] Re: ark crashed while creating a file

2009-03-28 Thread sputnik
Hi John!

thanks for the quick reply!

... I just can't figure out what you exactly need from theses steps.
Sorry!

I already installed a big bunch of dbg-packages. I would install a new
one as Ark is really often used and it isn't very good in the moment.

Or does my description not fit?

Thank you for a reply! :)

[Bug 336588] [NEW] krunner crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

2009-03-02 Thread sputnik
Public bug reported:

The application Befehloproop (krunner) crashed and caused the signal 11
(SIGSEGV).

kdebase-workspace:
  installierte Version: (keine)
  Candidate: 4:4.2.0-0ubuntu7~intrepid1
  Versionstabelle:

krunner crashed while using. Traceback follows - but I am astonished
that it seems that krunner owns to kdebase-workspace - but there was no
kdebase-workspace installed on my system. How could this happen? - Do I
have to file a new bug??

Here is what the traceback says:

[Bug 265121] Re: kopete crashes when trying to connect to MSN

2008-09-07 Thread sputnik
Interesting, Andreas!

... see: The last thing I was doing on MSN that I can remember was that
I added a new contact. This contact did not accept me as long as I have
been online... Maybe there is a notification waiting for me?

So: This contact doesn't have a special MSN-identity, but ... I have...
but only in so far that I do not have a hotmail-account as MSN-ident...

Jonathan,

thanks for work and asking! This seems indeed to be fixed for me at
least here in KDE 4.1.1 - I was able to move some selected files around.

[Bug 82323] [KDE 3.5.6] k3b wants "+-DVDs" ... and rejects "+DVDs"

2007-01-30 Thread sputnik
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: k3b

Since KDE 3.5.6 I get an error with k3b.

I use a Nec +-Burner. Since the upgrade k3b rejects normal "+DVDs" or
"-DVDs" but wants "+-DVDs". I am sorry that I could not find this
product so far ;-)

It is possible to tell k3b to ignore its error-messages so that I am
able to burn.

k3b version:

Architecture: i386
Version: 0.12.17-1ubuntu3

lshal tells me this about the burner:

Thanks for attention!

[Bug 23979] Re: not able to be activated in system-settings

2006-05-10 Thread sputnik
The problem with the locale of kde-i18n-nds reapears on a fresh installed
dapper.

While there were no problems with just upgrading the system from breezy to
dapper - it is not possible to activate the locale on a new Flight 7.

System-settings and Kcontrol simply don't allow the action.
