Brief Version: My version of Kubuntu keeps losing audio devices/audio
and cannot recover, including after reinstalling pavucontrol, alsa, etc.
I can't figure out how to get this to stop, and is a certain... and very
persistant bug. I've tried multiple uninstalls, and reinstalls, and
occasionally, one day after restarting the system, the audio bug is
present and never goes away again. All attempts to raise volume don't
work that I've tried. The askubuntu page has more detail, including my
hardware specs.
