I have a similiar problem, amarok is crashing and taking with him all the OS, everything is frozen but the cursor. It seems to be related with the khtml kpart that amarok uses for the context and the wiki search. If I use amarok without maximizing the window it works flawlessly. I have stumbled with the same problem with other programs, like konqueror and ktorrent when I want to use khtml. Carthik I cannot prvide any debug as I stopped using Ubuntu as I found too many problems with stability. I am a developer and have found that many of the tools I use have problems in Ubuntu distributions ( Quanta+ being completely unstable ). Thank you for reporting this bug. Is this still a problem when using the latest version of Amarok in Dapper? Could you please provide some debug information?
