anton_wes...@t-online.de continuing: unfortunately the Collected data and the Apport I can only send to you, not to myself, am not able to get a copy on a file. yet, with a magnified lens, I could read tha the cause is a MD5 checksum error caused by libnvidia...418... in muon I saw: a) such a package is not installed; b) ...418... are transient packaged; by muon I installed all packegas for nvidia with number 390. but again installer crashed. in the Collected data and the Apport I saw, that nevertheless ...418... caused MD5 checksum error. the new packeges I installed had nor been used. I am runnung kubuntu 20.04.LTS from a USB stick, which I have bought. Before of about two days I hav successfully installed on a HDD. Always same HDD: Partitioning made "manually", but always similar. The window "Ubuntu Apport" shows the cause: "CasperMD5CheckMismatch" (the file I have sent to you). and at the same time in my terminal "Konsole" was this displayed: root@kubuntu:~# ubuntu-bug ubiquity QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root' /usr/share/apport/apport-kde:129: DeprecationWarning: an integer is required (got type float). Implicit conversion to integers using __int__ is deprecated, and may be removed in a future version of Python. progress.setValue(value * 1000) Why in the last days (automatically ?) the MD5 checksum is gone defective? the collected data file, which I have sent to you, contains some information which and whar is false. I now have not the information, what I should re-install.
