alohas, as you hopefully all are ware we are using a different IO scheduler than the rest of the world and it makes baloo indexing block everything else due to scheduling (also see Rohan's mail on that topic from August). people keep whining about crappy baloo performance on 14.04 because we still use the deadline schedule there. so my question is how much longer we are ok with people shitting all over upstream for a distribution fault we refuse to resolve?
