Sv, 2010-12-19 17:41 +0900, Nguyen Vu Hung rakstīja: Hello all, Can anyone please explain what are the meaning of the following words. 1. Dependents 2. Precedents In Calc there is tool Detective. It traces on what cells does the result depend on. For example, if A3 cell contains value =A1+A2 the value depends on A1 and A2. The precedents are reverse – it points out, which cells uses the value of the given cell. Example, if A4 cells contains value =sqrt(A3) then A3 has 1 precedent: A4. I translated it roughly like incoming and outgoing, because they are represented with arrows and there was no sane way how to express it in Latvian. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to l10n+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/l10n/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***

One interesting extension is the Calc non-linear Solver: Tools - Solver - Options, and selec the non-linear solvers. Can we load them in Pootle? I've open this issue concerning the solver https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30839 And as I explained in the bug, this one is non-trivial. The extension in general don't use the same translation mechanism that the rest of LibO uses. Even so, some extensions written in C++ and included in the build tree cheats by directly accessing LibO's internal resource API (such as calc's default linear solver), but because the non-linear solver is written in Java, we can't do that cheat. :-( So, to make the string translatable for this extension we'd have to make non-trivial amount of change in the code itself, which I personally don't feel comfortable doing in the 3.3 time line. As a temporary solution, can't we just translate the .properties files and bundle the translated .properties? All you need to do is to update tarball at the end of the process. Hi, Today Kohei signed off my patch to nlpsolver and I committed it. I also committed the following translations from Pootle (+ Slovenian from direct mail): ast, ca, fr, hu, it, nl, pt-BR, sl. These languages were at 100%. Whenever I notice that a language reach 100%, I'll commit it, too. [libreoffice-l10n] New strings heads-up
Hi, Yesterday LibreOffice 3.3 RC2 was tagged in git and I extracted the en-US strings in order to see, whether there were something new to localize. There were quite a few, I have to update the pot file soon. Most of them come from the scp2 module and they are rather boring, i.e. you'll have to translate 110 times Installs language name help in %PRODUCTNAME %PRODUCTVERSION. Anyway, be prepared for additional translation work in the coming days.
