Re: [libreoffice-l10n] [ANNOUNCEMENT] LibreOffice 3.5 translations
Is it enough If I download LibreOffice 3.5 from Pootle server, do translation and then upload to Pootle for Khmer? Thank for your comment! I migrated 3.4 translations and I did not only a simple pomigrate2 but I applied a few code changes that did not affect the translated text but lowered your fuzzy/new word count significatly. I'll publish the script later today, it's on my other computer. I will put the current en-US SDF file and pot files online, too. Please don't forget to share any of those changes for others who use the Translate Toolkit in other project :) You can add them at bugs.locamotion.org. New feature is the KeyID comment. KeyIDs will help to find strings seen on the user inteface in Pootle. You can search for them in Pootle, use the Search field and check Comments checkbox. LibreOffice 3.5 betas will contain the KeyIDs in front of English UI elements. Also please note that LibreOffice 3.5 is a moving target. There can be string changes until it freezes in December. I'll update Pootle regularly, and I'll export translations to git regularly as well. Let me know, if you have questions. It was very specific to LibreOffice 3.4 -> 3.5 migration, for example I replaced image paths in help files. [libreoffice-l10n] Re: Scottish Gaelic
Do we have an ETA for rc1? Not trying to pester the developers, just trying to time-manage myself as I'm having a busy two weeks ahead of myself and I'd like to book in as much checking of gd as possible. [libreoffice-l10n] [ANNOUNCE] Branch libreoffice-3-4-4 created
Hi all, there have been created the libreoffice-3-4-4 branch. It will be used for fine tuning of the 3.4.4 bugfix release. It is based on the the tag libreoffice-3.4.4.1 for 3.4.4-rc1 release. The following rules apply: + preferably just translation or blocker fixes + only cherry-picking from libreoffice-3-4 branch + 2 additional reviews needed; 2nd reviewer pushes + no regular merges back to anything The 'libreoffice-3-4' branch is still active, will be used for the next bugfix release (3.4.5). Please read more at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Branches Now, if you want to switch your clone to the branch, please do: ./g pull -r ./g checkout -b libreoffice-3-4-4 origin/libreoffice-3-4-4 Hopefully it will work for you :-) Most probably, you will also want to do (if you haven't done it yet): git config --global push.default tracking When you do git push with this, git will push only the branch you are on; e.g. libreoffice-3-4-4 when you have switched to it. This will save you some git shouting at you. Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Help in help packages
Linux uses Ctrl, Alt, Shift or AltGr as Windows. You should write Linux or Windows way and put some footnote saying something like "In Mac is in that other way". I think this is the best way to translate it. I managed to find out how to write it for Mac in my language. In apple Portugal the key is translated, so I have to do it to.
