Re: [libreoffice-l10n] What does mean "Search Formatted Display String"

2015-11-16 Thread anne-ology
To me that line means -
to search for formatted displays which I would assume would
include programs, full & partial;
although the 'string' inclusion, I assume means only partial.

If it has to do with cells, then I would assume it means something
else - as ???

Sounds as if the latter, therefore I would suggest a re-writing of
the wording to say what it means.

Well, I still do all my accounting off-line ;-)

Suits me. +1
I’ll rename the option shortly, if no other suggestions come up.

Apologies, all, but shouldn't we "use the
source" at this juncture?

All this sounds like guessing, and the likely
outcome would be another wild-guess translation
(well, translationS) -- in the spirit of MSword
localisations, anyway. :)

PS I don't have the blob in question on hand at
the moment.

I was wondering about its meaning as well, when I first saw the string.
Perhaps the wording could be improved so it would be clearer -- something
like "Match cell format"?

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Adding numeral system

2015-11-16 Thread Aleksandr Andreev
Hello list members!

I have submitted for review a patch to add Cyrillic numerals:
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/20013/

Some code is reused from the Hebrew numbers, and could perhaps be merged.

The native numbers work in Calc and for formatting dates, but I cannot get
the page numbering to use these numbers. Is there something else I have to
do?
