Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Plural forms in Pootle
Hi there, Hebrew is now using a new plural forms formula: https://github.com/translate/l10n-guide/pull/71/commits/259079bb9c8af0042fe2ff6471cb33ee784b9cff Kind regards, Yaron Shahrabani On Wed, Oct 31, 2018 at 7:09 PM sophi wrote: > Hi Danylo, > Le 30/10/2018 à 17:36, Danylo Korostil a écrit : > > On 10/30/18 3:10 PM, sophi wrote: > >> Check that this table has no error and ask the equation to be added to > >> your language. > > > > Thanks! Yes, this makes it available in pootle, but I don't know whether the plural rules are needed in the po file for proper use of the different forms, or whether they are just informational for the po-editing tool and gettext will ignore it and use whatever it knows about the language. In other words: I have no idea/didn't check whether the equation is required or optional for proper use in LO. (If they are required, then further tweaks to pocheck utility are necessary, right now it disregards most of the PO-Header and instead writes its own, possibly stripped-down version when there are errors in the po-file) ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: l10n+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
[libreoffice-l10n] Several http links on UI
Hi, The Document Foundation (http://www.documentfoundation.org) have been using HTTPS recently. Using HTTPS prefix for documetfoundation.org, it will be a better option. My suggestion is, we might replace http://www.documentfoundation.org URL to https://www.documentfoundation.org And, there are only 2 sentences that will be replaced. https://translations.documentfoundation.org/tr/libo_ui/translate/instsetoo_native/inc_openoffice/windows/msi_languages.po#unit=32654036 https://translations.documentfoundation.org/tr/libo_ui/translate/scp2/source/ooo.po#unit=32665183 Also, there are several URL similar with this situation.
