Re: [libreoffice-l10n] bibliography entries and formatting

2012-10-07 Thread Takaaki Higuchi
I don't know much about bibliography, but I think your point seems relevant.
So I'd like to suggest you to put it on bugzilla(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/)
as a feature enhancement request.

Takaaki Higuchi

I'd appreciate a quick answer on l10n-related aspect of bibliography index
 (not involving exhaustive source digging):

The default set of bib entries types (Article, Book etc.), with their
default formattings -- is it programmed in or, possibly, put as a xml-form
somewhere in a system template file?

The built-in bib processing and formatting does not really fit in well with
the local, well-established requirements for bib (GOST 7, as a matter of
fact); involves too much of extra work. And yes, I know of Zotero (and a few
of other similar packages), and those do not really address my issue.

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] QA and Native language communities

Hi,

At the moment, I would use the us...@xx.libreoffice.org, at least for
the upcoming minor releases (3.6.x), to see what happens when we send
out a message in the native language inviting users to test the new
version in order to find bugs and regressions.

Then we can think about a q...@xx.libreoffice.org for the native languages
where there is a sizeable community of local testers, and connect this
mailing list to the general q...@global.libreoffice.org mailing list.

Just for information, currently we use the discuss@fr list to manage the QA
sessions we organized. Usually, we try to avoid to use the users@fr list
because some versions may need to be very carefully installed, removed,
etc... as it will overwrite the user profile or corrupt some documents.
We use the same way, discuss@ja for Japanese l10n and QA as of now.

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] RE : Re: [tdf-discuss] [OT] Japan Earthquake

2011-03-13 Thread Takaaki Higuchi

Around Tokyo area, it came to be under normal operations on Saturday
and Sunday. But the lack of electric power supply, it seems it will
be difficult to return daily business on Monday.

Anyway, I have not heard any sad news about OOo/LO volunteers as of now.

And I also wish earlier disaster recovery in the north east area in
Japan.

Thank you for your world wide support on this disaster.

regards,
Takaaki Higuchi

I second that. I am shocked by what happens in Japan, and my thoughts,
wishes and hopes are with our friends there. I hope all of you and your
beloved ones, your families and friends are okay, and I keep you in my
prayers.

You have friends all around the world, who think of you in these hard times.
