[libreoffice-l10n] Pootle memory translation don't work

Hi all.
We work on Venetian language localization. From some time we notice that
suggestion of translation don't work: we insert strings translated but
Pootle, afterward, don't suggest strings inserted.
In addition, after the last important update applied in november, memory
translation was totally reset. Is it possible to totally regenerate memory
translation and fix the problem of Pootle that can't remember inserted
translation?

[libreoffice-l10n] Pootle: problem in sentences with "LF"

Hi all.
I notice a problem in Pootle after the last update: when I go to edit a
sentence that contain a char "LF", Pootle don't show me both source
sentence and the other localized sentences (I configured Pootle to show me
in spanish, french and italian languages) and hang up in refreshing the
page.
Do anyone notice this behaviour?

the same problem seem to affect Venetian language in pootle: we have >5000
new words to teanslate in Master UI, where before the upgrade we had only
600 words to translate. Are new words all to be translated?

[libreoffice-l10n] Put online Venetian localization of LibreOffice

we would like to ask you to put online the Venetian version of LibreOffice
on Monday the 5th of September, since we will be present at the Brno
Conference on the 9th to present the Venetian Localization of LibreOffice.
We plan to finish our translations by the 31st of August, or possibly
sooner.

necessary to perform the publication with the best timing.

Hi everybody!
From last update to the Pootle server (about one month ago) my group of
Venetian localization have noticed some problems with the Pootle platform:
- first: we translate in Venetian from two languages, English and Italian,
and when we click over + symbol to copy text in Italian language, the text
copied is in English language!
- second: the tips (in yellow fields), under the text field where inert
translation, often are not coherent with context of translation.
Someone have noticed the same problem?

[libreoffice-l10n] New project

[Veneto ABC]

Dear LibreOffice Staff - Localization Sector,

my name is Alessandro Mocellin, Vicepresident of the Academia de ła Bona
Creansa, a private institution whose objectives entail the revitalization
of the international use of Venetian language. Among recent initiatives, we
developed and held the first Venetian Language Courses (with great success
among the public and unexpected interest among istitutions and media), we
are progressively publishing a corpus of Venetian translations of the
best-knowns classics of World Literature, and also working on the
long-sighted task of developing a monolingual Dictionary of Modern Venetian.

We would like to inform you that *we are strongly committed to the task of
Localizing LibreOffice suite for Venetian language speakers*, who amount
between 6 (certified) and 10 (presumed) millions of speakers in two main
Countries and two other ones (with lesser diffusion).


 Therefore, we hereby detail the language profile as required in

à è é ì ò ó ù ł (and capital Ł); from left to right



 Brief profile:

Venetian is a romance language born in Venetia, the region whose capital
city is Venice: therefore, currently the bulk of speakers (4-5 millions)
resides in Italy, in the administrative regions of Italy called Veneto
(more than 90%), Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Trentino-Alto Adige (i.e.
North-Eastern Italy). Since Venice had been capital an independent State
(The Most Serene Republic of Venice), the language spread in all its
territories. Up until now, the language resisted also in Croatia,
particularly in Histria (the whole Croatian coast was part of the Venetian
Republic for centuries).
Due to mass emigration from Venetia after annexation to Italy (1866),
millions of people migrated towards Brazil and Mexico until the WWI. Among
the millions of descendants of those Venetian migrants, many still speak
Venetian. In fact, Brazil recognized this language as co-official language
of the Brazilian Federation last November.

The orthography has minor variations due to the influence of the locally
official language: Italian for Venetian speakers residing in Italy and
Croatia (past Italian influence on Histria), Brazilian Portuguese for
Venetian speakers residing in Brazil, and Latin American Spanish for those
residing in Mexico.
Clearly, the original core of the language still is Venetia (moreless
corresponding to the administrative region in Italy called Veneto), and
therefore we will begin with vec_IT, and later on we'll develop the
localization also for the other Venetian-speaking areas, seeking help from
the local institutions we are in touch with.

 Therefore,* we would like to ask you to open a LibreOffice Localization
Project for Venetian.*
