I started contributing to libreoffice 3.6 ui translation (downloaded
files from pootle) offline and completed. When I contacted and asked for
upload permission my language (Tamil) Team's coordinator Mr. Elanjeliyan
given me the upload access. After completing all the files, I tried to
upload the files, it seemed to be uploaded but there were no changes in
statistics (still it showed the original completed percentage). I sent
 the
files to my coordinator requesting him to upload them (with overwriting
mode), but I think even after he tried to do his best the files have not
been uploaded (But my translations are showed up as suggestions if I
 open
 the file online!).
So anyone kindly look into this to see if any step would be helpful
 to
make use of my completed translations. Thanks in advance...!!

Have you verified if you have been given sufficient rights i
Pootle (Mr. Elanjeliyan should check in admin interface):

 Can administrate a translation project
Can download archives of translation projects
 Can commit to version control
Can overwrite translations on uploading files
 Can review translations
Can make a suggestion for a translation
 Can submit a translation
 Can view a translation project

Options 2, 4, (5), 6, 7, and 8 should probably be selected
in your case. Each team may have different needs.

Best regards,

Sveinn í felli

While uploading the files to pootle, there's an option which sets how
should new strings will be handled - overwriting the current string or
putting it as suggestion.
