python update changed urandom inclusion behaviour-stuff, in this case
all that was needed was reloading apache to make it use of the updated
python instead of a mix between old and new.

But other updates require reboot of the server, so there will be a
short downtime in the next hours for the reboot.

Well - yes and no. The VM is rebooted, works fine again, but it was
the same problem as last time, i.e. the VM slows down to a crawl, as
it would run on a 1Hz CPU or something like that - it still responds
to a ping for example, and responds to other requests, but the website
stuff all will time out. ssh login is still possible when waiting long
enough (although you cannot work with it, as it takes way to long to
see any reaction to keypresses), and communication via the Virtualbox
tools does work as well (it reacts to powerbutton event and poweroff
events).

So changing the TSC did not solve the problem. And as the source of
the problem is unknown, it will probably happen again :-((

Yes, the translaton workflow for galician is totally Pootle dependent.
I must consider other way
but I'm a little stubborn and I want to exhaust all possibilities with
Pootle or similar.
Maybe upgrading the software, devoting more resources or by
replicating and splitting the translations?

I have a question. Is there any way to sync all files (UI and Help)
and upload folder by folder or using a zip?
The process may be
- download the global zip from Pootle
- translate off-line, using Virtaal, brother of Pootle
- upload zips by folder (or global, ideally)
- checks
As others have said you can upload a ZIP. You can also try the Virtaal
0.7 beta that does the same checks offline. So you could move your
check review offline if you like.

Again the important part:
Don't click all download links on one page at once. Pootle isn't smart
enough to schedule the requests properly. Creating the zips for the
first time per project and language takes some time because of all the
processing it does. (and when you click multiple links at once, that
lengthy processing is not just done once, but for each click you do).

So
* click one download link. Wait until the file is handed over to your
browser for download. This can take a couple of seconds.
* after you got the first file of a page, feel free to click all the
other links on the page. The other files of that page should be handed
over to your browser instantly (as the lengthy processing only needs
to be done once)

For Valencian translation what I actually do is to download first the
zip with all the UI files:
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/gl/libo34x_ui/edit.html

(at the top you'll find a link to download the zip with all the
directories, the same for help)

Once you have translated all files you must zip them in the same way
and upload the zip file through the same page you downloaded it (at
the bottom there is a dialog you can use to do so).

Salut!

Pau

This is exactly how I work. And once I have enough advance my work, I
run gsicheck and then made the correction on Pootle.

Or sync instances of Pootle...changing to Transifex...

I want use Pootle, in opposition to .sdf because is more transparent
for tracking on my community.
By the way I want offer my remercies to Christian.
