Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Removal of 6.x strings
Linking all branches to Master is just great. When I detect a wrong translation, I just have to change Master and all branches are changed with it. So please do not unlink old branches from Master. Kind regards, Kees Ming H. schreef op 25.12.2020 15:50: -- Original -- From: "Sérgio Marques"; To: "Lista de tradução Libreoffice"; Hi Christian and all, I don't know if the team is thinking about removing older projects from weblate but for Portuguese language, I can assure you that you can remove all 6.x projects because I'm the only one working on Libreoffice translation and, for sure, I won't be touching that files anymore. Sérgio didn't elaborate the reason he wants the 6.x translations removed, so I'd like to concur and add a few comments about my experiences. Currently all five UI branches -- 6.3, 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, and master are linked together, so that changing translation of one old string on Weblate would trigger five changes, one in each branch. I assume for Help it's the same situation. This clutters quite a few places like my Profile > Recent Changes, History of the language overview page, etc. So if for whatever reason the old branches should be kept (I can think of a few), unlink them from master/7.1 so that they won't be automatically updated would be desirable. Ming So if you think a good idea, please remove all Portuguese related files for those projects.
