Hi everybody,
I have a few doubts here.
First of all. Am I working in team or alone? No one invited nor
committed me.
I'm translating, so far, off line. For that I'm using this page
_https://translate.apache.org/pt/aoo40/_for reference on the files
missing translation.
Is this page up to date? Because the numbers shown aren't correct.
Should I go through all the files, one by one?
After translation using _Virtaal_, what must I do to submit the
files? Compact all in one single file and then? Send to?
After the translation you can upload the files to pootle. There are a
link in every page to do it. You can upload a single .po file or a zip
with many files. The zip file should have the same folder structure
than pootle. Be careful to put the files in the right place.

Regards
Juan C. Sanz

Thanks,
Pedro.

Hi Juan,
I suppose you mean the link Enviar to the up right with a fat up arrow
beside it.

Thanks,
Pedro

Thanks! I think it's best to shorten columns a bit to make sure they
fit, if you have doubts about fonts.

For the time being, I've listed the available translations at
http://www.openoffice.org/marketing/marketing_where.html
(a very, very outdated page, but still easily reachable from search
engines), just to keep them tracked.

Also, the original EN doc have a missing half paragraph under
Base, it seems, because there is a phrase that makes no sense.

If you fix the translation according to Rory's explanation, pelase keep
it at the same URL, to avoid breaking the link.

As for your other comment in the ODT file: I think it's fine to localize
trademark notices.

Sooner or later, this stuff ought to be made available in Pootle too...

Regards,
  Andrea.

Indeed. We have at least two other volunteers (in CC) working on the
Greek version and if you use the PO files you will have conflicts.
Please translate online, on Pootle. You can start immediately (and just
make suggestions anonymously), but it's highly recommended that you ask
for a personal account.

To that aim (and to confirm that your contributions are under the
OpenOffice license, the Apache License version 2) just reply to this
mail asking for an account (if you have a preferred username, please
mention it), and the Pootle administrators will create one for you as
soon as possible.

Regards,
  Andrea.
