[lace] Happily tatting
Hi Thanks to you all for your advice about tatting books etc. I am now the proud owner of a book and dvd by Janette Baker and I think I'm getting on OK. I'm going to a tatting workshop on Saturday and I'm looking forward to that. I'm finding tatting much easier than I thought I would, although I'm still at the beginner stage and I know that there's much more to learn. [lace] Please Give Your Location in Your Signature Line
Dear Lacemakers, We are getting messages again without identification of the nation from which the letter originates. In addition, it is nice to include your state, shire, or maybe a well-known nearby city. Often a reply is needed. It is a courtesy to give more than a nickname or name We are a very small community of lacemakers, and many newbies think there is no one nearby to help. There are long-time members on Arachne who could tell you about friendships they developed because there really is someone near who understands your lace language. Someone geographically near you could be most helpful. Sometimes there is a shy Arachne member, who will reply privately. Some of us know lacemakers who are not on Arachne, but are willing to assist you if we arrange the connection. Helping is what we are about.
