Hello Dawn, lace is in German’s museums mostly not on display. The Museum für Kunst und Gwerbe In Hamburg for example give you the possibility to see them when you make an appointment weeks before you arrive. In Abenberg in the south is a museum mostly for lace google it to see when it’s open. In Celle you find a lovely museum for embroidery. And in Erzgebirge in the museums are laces beside the other things to see. Because things changed the last years I can’t send you the plan I made for the IOLI years ago it will not longer be right. I am afraid that my acknowledgement of my Exchange will be very delayed, as I am away on holiday At the moment, and won't get any mail until Christmas Eve. I hope all Lacemakers in Britain, especially those up north, - are safe. We saw the terrible floods on the TV news, and just pray that everyone -and their lacemaking 'tools' are all safe and well.
