Hello Everyone.
Firstly, I would like to thank all those participants in the exchanges of previous years as it is always awesome to see what wings across miles on Jenny's web pages. So, this year I am stretching it out a bit longer hopefully to have less of a holiday conflict with personal gifting and visiting. We have had awesome turnouts, which reflects the wonderful and generous Aracheans. Let's allow the fun begin once again. This year the schedule will go like this: August 14-31 Sign Ups September 1 Exchange partner assignments to be made and emailed out December 1 All cards hopefully will be in the mail Same rules apply as the previous bookmark, motif and card exchanges: Send in name, snail mail address, email address, how many cards you wish to make and any geographical preferences to me at *linhud...@gmail.com <linhud...@gmail.com>*. After making your card(s) please take a picture and email directly to Jenny Brandis (je...@brandis.com.au) who once again is a dear wonder and will be posting all on her web site. If you wonder if your partner was able to send in a photo of her card to you, just send a photo upon receipt and Jenny will make sure everyone is represented. We will be following up to make sure we get photos of all of them so if you think you will have a problem, just let me know. Thanks. Jenny has updated all the patterns submitted to her on the bookmark and card exchange web pages. If you submit your pattern to her, I am sure she will be most happy to add that to the accumulation from over the years. These are much appreciated for inspiration and eye candy. Thank you for sharing. If members of your lace group(s) or lacing friends wish to participate, they only need to be a member of Arachne and can sign up by emailing: majord...@arachne.com requesting to be included in the membership. Please let them know they can have daily emails, the Digest and/or the Chat emails sent to them. Both the Digest and Chat come sporadically in groupings. The Digest is for lace related topics and the Chat will cover non-lace related topics and will be items of interest to share with the group. Membership is free and open to all lacemakers. Any problems, just let me know. If you are going to be late, please let your partner and myself know. If you have to drop out for some reason, please personally contact me (linhud...@gmail.com) as soon as possible so I can ensure everyone has a partner. Thank you. If this is your first time or you are participating for an additional time, you are going to have lots of fun. Any type of lace and pattern is appropriate. Any skill level is welcome. This is creative license at its best. Don't be shy. This is your time to shine. Thanks and enjoy. Hugs, Lin and the Mali - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here. For help, write to arachne.modera...@gmail.com.
