[lace] Lace Clock
Hi Sue , Coming very late into the clock discussion, I made a round sunflower face for a clock, bought a seperate clock movement which are readily available at most craft shops or clock makers, and then had it box framed and they made the box deep enough for the hands etc. If you like I can email a picture since we cant use webshots any more. [lace] Brass fan frame
Dear Arachnids, This is the 4th time I'm trying to send this post , somehow they are not getting through, hope this one makes it! I have posted some pictures of a fan frame I bought some time ago and have decided this is the year to do something about it. It is of brass coated cast metal and is about 40 cm wide, 24cm high [standing] the leaf is 40 cm on the outer edge and 17 on the lower edge and 10cm wide. I had thought to make the leaf with three oval cameo type holes to put photos in of my then granddaughters in it, I had 3 at the time, now there are 5 so that won't work. I would like to hear your ideas of how you would maybe use it, hopefully with lace in it. I dont promise to use all the suggestions but would like to have more than my own to work with. Pictures are on Webshots, Arachne 2003, under Dot Goetsch Thanks Keep weaving wonderful webs, Dot Goetsch Port Elizabeth South Africa - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
