Re: [lace] Happy 25th Anniversary
Oh my goodness! I had no idea the list was that old, but on thinking back where I was when I joined and that my young children I had now are parents, it makes sense. Happy 25th, Arachneans! Re: [lace] On Arachne since 1996
Hello all, I have been a lurker for many years now, but I joined in 1996 or 1997. I didn't realize it was 25 years already. Wow. Hi Bev! Re: [lace-chat] Re: [lace] Re Susan of Tennessee
Well, since Jeri has got so many of the lurkers out of hiding and some of my old friends are posting, I had better come out too. I'm Heather Muth and have been with Arachne almost since the beginning. I've lurked for many years now. Tamara, I'm so sorry to hear of your husband.Like Tamara, however, it was trauma that made me step into the background. It was about 12 years ago that I became ill, 11 years ago that my husband started his affair and 8 years ago that we separated. I am now quite happily divorced. I've focused more on my embroidery since then, although I still love the lace. And for those, like Bev Walker, who may remember my children, my daughter has been married for over a year (I know, right!) and my son is a student at the University of the Fraser Valley, as am I. I can't believe that Arachne is 18. It doesn't seem that long. Wasn't, really; David misremembers :)it had to have been *at least* 2003... Thanks for that correction. I knew it was a long time ago - fancy - only 10 years!
