We now have bout three weeks before we start pairing names of participants
for the ornament/lace exchange. Please note, if you are new and don't feel
comfortable with taking on the challenge of an ornament or have been lacing
forever and want to share a new piece you have done, please don't say you
don't want to participate. Whoever your paired with will love what ever
you share.
Jenny has updated her website and she has all previous years' exchanges.
You will see people have done all kinds of things for the exchange. Our
main goal is for you all to enjoy sharing with someone else.
As a reminder the timeline for this year's exchange is below: If you have
not already sent us your name and desired number of exchanges, please
reconsider.
Timeline for this year's exchange follows:
15 OCT - Send us your name, address and number of ornaments you would like
to exchange - and please include whether you have a preference as to where
your partner lives
1 NOV - We will send out your partner(s)
1 DEC - Send out your cards and ornaments - Before you send your ornament
to your partner, please take a picture and send it to Jenny Brandis who
will upload them to her website dedicated to all our lace exchanges.
We look forward to a record number of exchanges for this year and ask a
special favor for this year's exchange. If you are new to making lace or
have been reluctant to exchange in past years, please reconsider and join
us for this year. We will all love your ornament and hope you will join us.
