[lace] lace - Bedfordshire lace

2011-05-25 Thread fitz....@tinyworld.co.uk
Hello all

Your help would be much appreciated: I have only made
Torchon lace and decided to have a go at Bedfordshire.
My first problem
is that all my right hand picots split, the left ones are great what is
causing this please?

Secondly my leaves are turning out like "holly"
leaves, is it just practice that will turn then into something
wonderful, perhaps I should go back to my Torchon???

Kind regards

Paula
In sunny windy Suffolk.

I agree, what wonderful lace. How many years will it take me to get
to that stage of lace making??

I have been making lace for about 3 years and get really inspired by
all that you do on this list, I shall just have to keep plodding along!

Thanks. I do belong to Suffolk Lace Makers and hopefully at the next
meeting I can put some names to faces.

>Hallo Paula, Are you a member of the Suffolk Lacemakers? If not I
recommend you join them, they have a really nice lace day which we
always attend, they are a friendly bunch and we always have a good
day. If you are not and need details Nicky (whose husband is chairman)
is an Arachne member and I am sure she would make you welcome.
