Linda, I stayed out of the conversation as you said Lace 2000 and Knipling.
I have no knowledge of either, but I do have Easy Lace which wasn't easy
initially without the booklet written by a lovely lady.
Now I am finding I can use it and am learning more each time I try. The
book helps me find out what I am not doing right. from a lacemakers point of
view and a not very computer literate person g.
Which ever hyou choose I hope you have lots of pleasure seeing your ideas
come together.

My short answer is - Lace 2000 will likely be more accessible to you.
Knipling is a powerful program and you do have to buy the demo version
from
the publisher in Germany. As to use - I have tried both and L-2K was
easier
to use for me. If I was more familiar with CAD programs, then Knipling
would
be my choice. My personal favourite, and I use it as easily as pencil and
paper, is Easy Lace.
You can check out Jo's excellent précis of lace software here:

decide which to buy. I am looking at lace 2000 of knipling. would anybody
who
