Watching Flog It the other day I was interested to find out how Royal Doulton got the pattern on their pottery. While the clay is still wet they wrap a piece of lace around the vase or what ever they are making and then pull it off and that gives them the pattern to paint. Maybe you already knew that but thought I would post it just incase.
