[lace] Lepoglava lace
Home today...neck is doing the nasty painful thing it sometimes does. Laying on the couch with an ice bag watching youTube videos on lacemaking. Saw a wonderful video on Croatian laces... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuMHTNeUDrI I was very much taken with the Lepoglava lace and did an internet search. Found this page... http://www.lacecorner.com/lepoglava/photo_gallery.aspx Does anyone know if there are any pattern books out there for this type of lace? There are a few patterns on the page above that I would love to try. I wasn't able to find anything. Yes, there is at least one book on Lepoglava lace. Paperback titled Tape Lace from Lepoglava by Nel de la Bie, Tonny Haas and Hanneke Troost. Thanks for the web sites. I have the book and never got farther than just looking at it. Maybe now I will be inspired enough to try it.
