Re: [lace] Postcard Exchange
For those new to the list, last year I organized an exchange of postcards among fellow lacemakers to make the summer months a little more interesting for those unable to travel (like me) & those who were travelling to conventions & other places. Last year there were 48 participants, so I created 4 groups of 12 participants sorted by location. Each person then was given 3 addresses to send a postcard to one person in the other 3 groups. So to make it more interesting everyone received 3 postcards from another 3 different people. Those who appreciated receiving their postcards, then reciprocated with another postcard. I just asked that everyone to send their postcards out before the end of August. I'll accept names until 15th June & then send out addresses on the 20th June. [lace] Postcard Exchange
I've received a few e-mails from people who'd like to be included in the postcard exchange. If you wish to participate I will of course need your address!!. Last year some people (including me) found postcards with lace on them, & some clever lacemakers even made their own postcards. But ordinary postcards are also acceptable. Now I have to finish a few pieces of lace for the exhibition in mid-July. Pene - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
