Re: [lace] Sue's Clock

2012-10-16 Thread Branwyn ni Druaidh
I had a day of running away from dental issues today, so had the desire to
look at pretty things and find the direct link to the clock face before I
left for the dentist. :\

Bronwen
who spent three hours in the dentist's chair today, and will probably have
to go back tomorrow as one of the fills she did cracked while I was eating
a french fry. :\

Thanks, Bronwen, for the link. We technophobes thank you. Sue, the lace
is beautiful! WHat a clever idea and a great execution. I had no interest
in a lace-faced clock, but now you've got me inspired.

Thanks, both of you, for letting us see it.

2012-10-15 Thread Dot and Clive

Dear Spiders,

cant get onto the right place, please will one of the bright computer
sparks give me the steps to follow.

We are also gearing up for our first Lace Conference to be held in many
years. The Johannesburg Lace Guild is organising it and it is to take
place in Bloemfontein, which is a central venue, from the 24 - 26
October for lace courses, the registration for the weekend is on the
Friday Afternoon 26th followed by a reception, meetings and
demonstrations and tours on the 27th, with a wind down on the Sunday
with departure on Sunday afternoon.

Many thanks
