Hello All! After returning from a quick trip to Wally-Mart where I was browsing in the periodical section, I was going to post about the Victoria magazine article on Irish lace--only to see that Jeri had beat me to it! Sharp eyes, quick fingers in Maine!! It's not deep reading, but there are some pretty pics including one of a young girl making lace with her grandmother. To Sue, it sounds like Chicago is the place to be this week--what a thrill to have a booth at the Flower & Garden Show. I hope you will be wearing your very spiffy apron! Last week when I attended the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show, I was discussing the womensjourneysinfiber with another member of South Florida Fiber Guild when she let out a whoop! Turns out she believes her artistic life changed when she met the gal who leads your group. So--you just never know how influential you can be/become when you cross paths with other fiber artists.
