do you have a power drill?  mine is a little $10 one from Walmart and you
can use it to wind bobbins by putting the bobbin in the space where the
drill bit goes.  i got a larger one but it is harder because it is a bit
too powerful.  the little rechargeable one does a nice job and isn't too
bulky.  sorry, i forgot about this one.  i only have these three.  if you
want photos or such, let me know as i will gladly share.

if you go on eBay and search for bobbin winders, there is a guy in Utah who
lists a small wooden one that is a dream for about $15.  i have purchased
two - one for me and one for a friend.

the other one i have is Plexiglas and is made by a guy in Australia.  Holly
Van Sciver used to carry his as well but not sure she still does.  it is
even smaller and very rugged.

if you need more info, let me know and i will help research and get more
details.  these are the two i have had for 16 years.
