Hi All,

I also do quilting and find that a layer of left over wool batting on top of
the polystyerene is good before the fabric cover.

Dear Daphne,

The tablecloth is just wonderful. Two years to make it, wow, that is good
going. I am starting to plan in my head tablecloths for my granddaughters
(Erin and Ruth are both preschoolers) for their Weddings.

My daughters are - oh, Mum!!! - but they do not appreciate the time it will
take, to find an appropriate design (designing myself, not one of my skills),
and if I make one I will have to make another...

Where did your design inspiration come from and what thread did you use?
Buying enough of the same thread for a whole project will also be something I
will have to work out.

I have been crocheting tablecloths (usually about 1-1 1/2 m) for each of the
next generation Weddings.

Suggestions from anyone on sources of design, patterns, amounts of thread
likely to be necessary will be welcome.
