RE: [lace] [Lace] My tablecloth
Hi All, I also do quilting and find that a layer of left over wool batting on top of the polystyerene is good before the fabric cover. RE: [lace] [Lace] My tablecloth
Dear Daphne, The tablecloth is just wonderful. Two years to make it, wow, that is good going. I am starting to plan in my head tablecloths for my granddaughters (Erin and Ruth are both preschoolers) for their Weddings. My daughters are - oh, Mum!!! - but they do not appreciate the time it will take, to find an appropriate design (designing myself, not one of my skills), and if I make one I will have to make another... Where did your design inspiration come from and what thread did you use? Buying enough of the same thread for a whole project will also be something I will have to work out. I have been crocheting tablecloths (usually about 1-1 1/2 m) for each of the next generation Weddings. Suggestions from anyone on sources of design, patterns, amounts of thread likely to be necessary will be welcome.
