I perhaps had taken Jean in Poole's message too much for granted by
quoting it into lace-chat, and if anyone is offended, please forgive - it
was the best of intentions and for the sake of mirth... I decided the bit
I had quoted would be sufficient laugh here, joke on --
joke off I receive the digest version of the lists, and though my e-mail
program is ancient but reliable (has anyone heard of PINE?)
it is difficult to isolate more than a few lines for a
quotation (etc. etc.).
